A People Search Engine Review

Mark A Phelps asked:
Are people search engines a scam? In this article I will attempt to give you my insights on this question as well as explain what the people search affiliate program is and how you can make money with the program. Can these programs claim that anyone can succeed in making money with a people search engine?
There are many programs on the internet that make claims of success. All you have to do is sign up, complete the steps laid out for you and thousands of dollars are on the way to your bank account. I have personally seen many of these programs and tried a few. The results were always the same, failure. I was always missing some key component, and it wasn’t work ethic. I would put in hours of work with no results. Then I came across another program, and the owner claimed to have bought a 1.2 million dollar home with his earnings from affiliate programs that he still promotes. He was unemployed and a college drop out. I have seen this before and thought another scam. I just went on my daily tasks. About 2 weeks later I saw this ad again, and thought what the heck take another look. What I found was that the owner really did have a pretty system in place and was willing to talk to me personally. He has regular training sessions weekly and really seems to care if you succeed. Then I saw his guarantee of a $125 in commissions within 24 hrs of completing all of his steps. I signed up and was surprised on what I found out.
A people search engine as I see it is a website that anyone can make a search for person and obtain information on that person. As I found out no search is perfect you may find more information than you can handle or may find no information at all. On the affiliate side of this program, this is where a person can make money on people searching for information on a lost family member, long lost friend, or background checks on possible employee. This people search engine utilizes My life, and HD Publishing for the search program and it also utilizes Click bank, GDI and Host Gator. You sign up as an affiliate for all these programs which are free except for GDI and Host Gator these two are used for hosting you website. However, they both pay commissions when you refer someone to their business. With My Life and HD Publishing they pay you commissions for leads and for sales. Click bank is also utilized to earn commissions for their products. All of this is placed on your website to promote, so you the owner can make commissions on sales. The next part of this program is where the owner will pay you for each step that a referral takes to set up their search engine website. He pays $5 for step 1, $10 for step 2, and $15 for step 3. He does tell you that this money should be used to advertise you websites to make more commissions. This money is above the income you can make through the other affiliate programs on your website. He also makes suggestions on where to get more training outside of his webinars and phone consults.
Since, I looked into this particular search engine I have noticed many different types of search engines. Some of them include searching for people by reverse phone numbers, email accounts, social security numbers and addresses, past and present. Now, are people search engines a scam? No, I can honestly tell you that if someone wanted to make money with a people search engine and they researched their target audience, advertised to that target audience they can be quite successful. I also found that these search engines can be very helpful in finding people if you know how to use them, but that is a subject of another article.

Brian Krassenstein asked:
There are a lot of people in pretty bad economic shape now-a-days, after the biggest housing slump on record, and the biggest fall in stock market in decades. Because of this mess, many people are forced to sell their home, their most prized, and valuable asset. Weather you are about to default on your mortgage, or are looking to sell via a short sale, the market is not an easy one for sellers. In fact it is probably the worst time to sell a home in the last 50 years. Here are 3 Things you should know about selling a home in this market in a hurry:
#1 Make the Outside Look Nice
There are foreclosures likely around every corner selling for a price much lower then you are looking to get for your house. The advantage you have over the foreclosed homes is that your home is upkept. Make this fact easy to realize to potential buyers by doing anything possible to make the outside of your home appear immaculate. Power wash the siding, replace the door knocker, and do a little landscaping. it will go a long way.
#2 Spice up your Online Presence.
Make your listing stand out. if you know how to optimize pages for search engines, then you are a step above the rest. Put keywords in your listing highlighting some of you homes more important features, and give viewers a nice bunch of pictures so that they can tour the home before visiting it. Make sure you use a wide angle lense to make the rooms look just a bit bigger. Your goal is to get them into your home for a tour.
#3 Target Your Home to First Time Buyers
First time home buyers are making up a significant portion of all home sales the last few months. With the addition of the $8000 first time home buyer credit, this trend will continue for quite a while. To target these people, you need to get online, maybe consider getting onto Facebook and Twitter to market to the younger aged buyers who are likely first timers.
It’s not an easy task, but with the right approach you can and will sell your home, even in this terrible market.
