The loading light on my PC won’t stop. How do I make it stop? Is it a virus on my PC? Anyway to speed it up?

ok i should add, i used CCleaner right after i noticed my pc was going very slow. i still didn’t know about the spyware yet. then i used Spybot Search and Destroy and it says that it removed the spyware. my pc seems to be going at an okay speed now, after running a bunch of antivirus programs, deleting history and all. but my friend told me there still might have been corruption so idk what to do next
