Hello, everyone! Maybe someone out there can help me. I’ve been using Bitcomet for about a year now. In the past, I would download a well seeded torrent at over 380k/sec. Now, for some reason, a very well seeded torrent will only download at <1 kB/s. All of my lights are green in Bitcomet, I do not use a router. I have a cable connection, and when I do a bandwidth test, I get around 9,000 kB/s (tested on three different sites). So, what's wrong with Bitcomet? I have Vista, and my PC memory is souped up in every way possible. This started around a month ago. I used to download files quickly. I read up about how ISPs can slow down P2P downloads, but I don't think they'd slow them down to 1k/s. Here's the torrent I am currently trying to get, and it won't go past 1k:

A couple more things - The download will START fast...get up to maybe 180 k/sec, but that will last less than a minute, then it shoots down to 1 k/sec.
Also, that floating window in the corner, which shows the total upload/download rates....even if I have no torrents turned on, it shows the upload rate at over 2000k/sec....how is this possible, if I'm not telling Bitcomet to upload any files?
Thanks everyone!
Richard
