   No – it doesn’t work like that. You’re trying to put the concept of SLI in graphics cards into internet connection – but, again, it doesn’t work like that.

   1. It’s a theory – no software has been released yet
   2. They don’t even mention that ability for dial up, which is what the asker wants to know about

   Hi, did you buy that out of the ark for get dile up it will take you for ever to link up. take the bugger out put in a FAST ETHERNET card abd get on to broadband you will be there all day trying to link up, and the answer to your question no you cannot it’s a card on it’s own it would be like trying to put two sound cards together. sorry that’s a no no from the start.

   Not in line, not even in parallel. Dial-up is capped at 48kbps, and drops with distance from the central office. You’re getting the maximum speed you can get now. (The modem itself is capable of more than 48kbps, so id the speed were there, you’d be getting it.)

   You cannot put two modems in line to the same PC to get a faster dialup connection.

   There used to be dual modems available that would allow you to connect over two different phone lines simultaneously (giving your something like 112kbps), but in general, they don’t seem to be available anymore. An example of this was the Supra dual modem 56K.
